Historic Mill circa 1834 with adjacent pad building anchored by the US Postal Service. Soon to be fully restored Mill that was the United States’ first combination Grist and Lumber Mill. Located 11 miles from downtown Brattleboro, VT and 4 miles to I-91. A third building will soon be built to provide a complete Town Center to serve the retail needs of the Town residents of Vernon, Vermont. Vernon is the first Vermont town located over the Massachusetts border. It is the former home of the Yankee Power Plant which provided electrical services to most of New England.
